Insurance Benefits

Dr. Day is unable to accept Medicare or Passport/K-CHIP/Medicaid plans.

Fee For Service

Dr. Day also accepts fee-for-service payment. With this payment option, Dr. Day does not bill an insurance company and is instead paid her hourly fee directly by the client.

“Out of network” Benefits

Dr. Day also provides services on an “out-of-network” basis for all other insurance plans. “Out-of-network” benefits cover psychological services with the clinician of your choice and sometimes require a patient to pay a deductible (if not already met), and then reimburse a certain amount of the fee after that, typically 75 to 80%. The process is simple, and often patient financial responsibility is comparable to in-network benefits.

For clients who have other insurance plans, Dr. Day can provide documentation to submit for reimbursement if they have “out-of-network” benefits. If you would like to inquire about out-of-network benefits, please call the member services number listed on the back of your insurance card and request to speak with someone regarding your benefits. The customer service representative can assist you with information regarding co-pays/fees for out-of-network services if applicable.

Flexible Spending/Health Savings Accounts

At your request, Dr. Day’s office can provide a receipt for tax purposes or for flexible spending/health saving accounts.
